Beacon subscribers: You may have seen an email telling you to update your password.
This is legitimate and came from Creative Services, our new web provider. Once you click the link and enter your email address, it will send you a new password. You can then log in and update it to a password of your choosing.
The reason: We have a new website from a different provider.
This notice went out to all current subscribers. The paywall for the new website is now live, so if subscribers want to be able to access their subscriptions (online), they will have to do this.
Passwords did not transfer over, and we are not asking subscribers to give them to us – they need them to access the news content on the site.
