Edmonds-Woodway finishes seventh at 3A state golf meet

Edmonds-Woodway’s Hailey Rehnfeldt and Alexi Huffman finished eighth at the 3A state girls tennis doubles championships. After dropping their first round match, Rehnfeldt and Huffman rebounded to win two matches to qualify for the medal round.

In the 3A state boys doubles tournament, Edmonds-Woodway’s Jordan Megiveron and Lachlan Rogan went 1-2, while Meadowdale’s Djelli Berisha and Ryan Johnson dropped their two matches.

Edmonds-Woodway finished seventh at the 3A state girls golf championships. Rachel Puetz placed 28th and Frances Monahan was 29th. Meadowdale’s Hannah Peterson and Edmonds--Woodway’s Ester Jones and Jordan Easter also qualified for state.

King’s Grayson Giboney finished in a fifth place tie in the 1A state boys tournament.
