Two Meadowdale football players signed letters of intent to continue their athletic careers in college.

Alex Maxwell, a first-team, all-Wesco 3A offensive and defensive linemen, is headed to Southwest Minnesota State in Marshall, Minnesota. The 6-foot-2, 275-pound Maxwell is projected as an offensive lineman. The Mustangs (4-7), a Division II school, finished sixth in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.

Hebert, an honorable mention selection, will be attending Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia. The 5-11, 190-pound standout was recruited as a running back. Under Great Northwest Athletic Conference Coach of the Year Thomas Ford, the Clan finished 1-9 overall in Ford’s first year with the team.
