On a recent Friday, Amber Chiozza spent her morning on the Edmonds waterfront, cleaning the many sculptures visitors and locals enjoy.

Chiozza, who contracts with the city, is here applying a coat a wax to Georgia Garber’s “Locals” from 1989.

Chiozza, an artist in her own right whose specialty is art maintenance, would go on to refresh other public art pieces, including Robert Cooke’s “Beach Launch” by the ferry dock, which was installed 20 years ago.
