Three Pacific Little League teams claim district titles | Baseball

All three squads move on to state tourneys

Pacific Little League dominated the District 1 baseball tournaments.

All three of the league’s team’s won titles and advanced to their respective state tournaments.

Pacific’s 10-year-old team defeated Mill Creek 9-6 in the championship game. The 11-year-olds rallied to beat Mill Creek 5-4 in the final inning and the 12-year-old squad upended Everett 17-2.

The 10-year-old state tournament is currently being hosted by Pacific Little League at Lynndale Park. The 11-year-old tournament is July 14-21 in Burien. The 12-year-old is scheduled for July 21-28 in Sedro-Woolley.

District 1 is comprised of 14 leagues and it is a rare event in district playoff history for any single league to win all three divisions.

Pacific Little League is based out of Lynnwood and includes more 800 boys and girls from Lynnwood and Edmonds, who play baseball and softball.
