Victim report of UIBC (unlawful issuance of a bank check), after client's bank check, for work performed, was returned NSF (non-sufficient funds) from bank. Account remains open but has returned NSF for over a month. 7500 block of Olympic View Drive.

Hack attack

Victim's email was hacked; bank fraud attempted. 17600 block of Talbot Road.

Items stolen overnight from inside a truck in the 7300 block of 208th Street SW.

Heard loud booms. Unknown if fireworks or gunshots. 22500 block of Woodway Park Road.

Motorcycle stolen

Stolen motorcycle in the 200 block of Alder Street.

Off to jail

Subject arrested on misdemeanor Edmonds warrants and booked into the Snohomish County Jail. 2100 block of Gibson Road.

Can run, can’t hide

DUI collision, foot pursuit and subject arrested and booked for DUI, obstructing and escape. 8100 block of Olympic View Drive.

Stop making sense

An iPhone was accidentally dropped, picked up by someone. Later found. 200 block of Beach Place.

Keystone kaper

Subjects enter Subway, one covered in pepper spray. While he gets assistance, his partner tries to break into the cash register and tells the clerk he has a gun. They leave with nothing, but get in a collision a few blocks away and the driver is found with unprescribed Xanax. Subject booked into Snohomish County Jail. 23800 block of Highway 99.

Someone tagged property with the name “Elena.” 22700 block of Highway 99.

Short vehicle pursuit called off for safety reasons. 23800 block of Highway 99.

Driver arrested for DUI after crashing into parked car in the 500 block of Walnut Street.

Weekly dose of good news

Purse found in intersection of 216 Street SW and 80 Avenue West was turned over to police. Owner was located, purse was returned with all contents intact.

PayPal account fraudulently used to make Amazon order. 600 block of Glen Street.

Bone found in park

Bone found by citizens walking their dog in Pine Ridge Park. 20330 block of 83rd Avenue W. Placed into evidence for analysis.

July 22

Animal cruelty

Two dogs left in a vehicle parked in the sun in the 600 block of Fifth Avenue South for approximately two hours; temperature reported 80 degrees in Edmonds. One dog was panting heavily.  Windows partially down. Dogs removed from car. Owner located and cited.

An adult mother got into a verbal argument with her juvenile daughter. 9600 block of 220th Street SW.
