Westgate Elementary School in Edmonds recently held its annual Sciene Fair.

On hand were three students in the Students Saving Salmon booth, from left, Erin Francisco, Elena St. Maria and Ava Wilson.

They are doing a "fishing for salmon facts," where kids have to answer a question about salmon and their habitat needs and then see if they "caught" the correct answer using a fishing pole with line cast over the "ocean" curtain.

Students Saving Salmon is a a club made up of Edmonds-Woodway High School students who are interested in learning about salmon and their habitat.
