Sponsored Brief: ‘Something’s Afoot’ staged by Edmonds Driftwood Players

Sep 13, 2018

Tickets are on sale now for SOMETHING’S AFOOT. It’s a zany, entertaining musical that takes a satirical poke at Agatha Christie mysteries and musical styles of the English music hall of the ’30s.

Ten people are stranded in an isolated English country house during a raging thunderstorm. One by one they’re picked off by cleverly fiendish devices. As the bodies pile up in the library, the survivors frantically race to uncover the identity and motivation of the cunning culprit.

Featuring: Larry Albert, Michael Byron-Ingersoll, Laura McFarlane, Jonathan Olson, Gabriel Ponce, Josh Pulley, Dorothy Rosenthal Pierce, Emily Swanby, Teri Lee Thomas, and Joe Wack.

This production is directed by Scot Charles Anderson, with music direction by Mark Press and stage management by Sean McKay.

Thurs.-Sat. at 8 p.m., Sun. at 2 p.m.: Sept. 14-30. ASL Presentation Sept. 22. www.edmondsdriftwoodplayers.org or call the office at 425-774-9600 (office hours are Tuesday – Friday, noon – 5 p.m.).
