Republicans, don’t cross the line yet | Letter

Mar 31, 2016

Editor, The Beacon:

Many in the U.S. these days are stirred by this 2016 upcoming election [“Even if you are a Republican, stand with me on Nov. 8,” The Beacon, Letters, page 4, March 17].

All hearts want to hear integrity and respect coming from the attitudes of each candidate, and many Republicans are concerned about the demeanor of Donald Trump.

Our world has much changed in the last 30-40 years.

Many people are so upset with the happenings in Washington, D.C., and the great national debt.

The moral values have slid downward from where our nation once stood. I can say very honestly, Barbara Tipton, that I was most concerned some year’s back at the dinner time “news” of Bill Clinton’s detailed sexual escapades broadcast in front of many little children for weeks during the pending court process.

I don’t condone all of Trump’s shouts and think it’s kind of sad that people are so stirred to want Washington, D.C., shook up that they are supportive of a guy as aggressive as Trump.

What on earth do other nations think when looking in on the primary elections.

I’m going to choose to wait and pray (2 Chronicles 7:14).

One man or woman can’t bring America back to her feet again. Only God Almighty can turn this nation around. We better seek him soon and whole-heartedly if there will be anything left of our country’s children.

Linda Danielson,

Edmonds

Praise the Lord, Ms Danielson, but in the mean, just remember, Clinton cannot be trusted and Sanders wants us all to pay for HIS socialist train wreck !
