Shubert Ho, co-owner of Feed Me Hospitality in Edmonds, hands a $3,000 check to firefighter Justin Perkins, who accepted it on behalf of South County Fire Foundation IAFF Local 1828, which supports the firefighter families, the community, and local scholarships.

Ho, named An Edmonds Kind of Fourth grand marshal, sold Edmonds July 4 apparel to benefit South County Fire after firefighters extinguished a blaze near his Bar Dojo restaurant at Five Corners earlier this year.

“We sold almost 250 pieces of apparel, averaging $10 profit each,” Ho said. “We detonated $500 of our own money to even it to $3,000.”
