Monday, Feb. 4, update:

From the Edmonds Police: Call volumes are significant and response times are longer. If you are in a non-injury collision and can exchange info safely, please do that instead of waiting for an officer.

From the Edmonds Police: Many roads are officially closed or unsafe to navigate around town. DO NOT drive around barricades for your safety and the safety of others.

From the City of Edmonds: As of 10:30 a.m, today, City Hall and the Municipal Court buildings are closed for the remainder of the day due to lack of power and heat caused by the inclement weather. Other city functions remain operational, including Public Works, Police, and Parks Department staff, who are assisting with snow-related support services. Frances Anderson Center is open for staff only today.

All Edmonds School District schools and programs are CLOSED today Monday, February 4, due to unsafe weather conditions.

From Edmonds Municipal Court Judge Linda Coburn: Edmonds Municipal Court will be closed today because of the inclement weather. Staff has been trying unsuccessfully to physically get to the Courthouse. If out-of-custody defendants had a scheduled hearing today, they will be re-summoned to a future court date.
