Peggy Rae Potter: 1933-2017

Nov 29, 2017

Peggy passed peacefully Oct. 29, 2017, at the home of her daughter, Lili Gay, in Edmonds.

Peggy was born Aug. 19, 1933, in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to Andy and Gladys Huber. She moved to Seattle when she was 7 years old, later attending Holy Names and Lincoln High School. She moved to Edmonds in 1972. She loved Edmonds, especially the beach, library and Edmonds Bookshop.

Mom loved her family and did all she could to help us, support us and make life a bit easier for us. She adored her grandsons and great grandsons, the greatest joys in her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her younger sisters, Patty and Polly. She is survived by her daughter Lili Marie Gay (Michael), grandsons Christopher (Adriana) and Evan (Katie), and great grandsons Nicholas, Mikey, Jack Henry and baby Grant.

We miss her so much.

Many thanks to Evergreen Hospice for the loving support, specifically Lita, Monica and D'arcy, and our wonderful and devoted caregivers, Mulo and Salote, who took such good care of mom and all of us.

Memorial services will be held 11:30 a.m. Dec. 2, at Maple Park Church, 17620 60th Ave. W, Lynnwood.
