Northwest Stream Center offers Spring nature walk

Mar 17, 2014

Celebrate the first day of Spring with a Nature Walk at the Northwest Stream Center in Snohomish County’s McCollum Park, 600-128th St. SE, Everett, at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 20.

Driving Directions:

Zoologist Tom Noland and Naturalist Lori Powlas will introduce you to the native plants around the Northwest Stream Center, then lead you onto a forest trail next to North Creek.

Along the way, you will learn how to identify different plants and how Native Americans used these plants for food, medicine, building materials, clothing, baskets, and more.

This is a great time to visit the Nortwest Stream Center.  Spring is budding out all over… the birds and frogs are singing!

Reservations required by calling 425-316-8592; $5 Adopt A Stream Foundation Members; $7 non-members.
