Meadowdale falls to Mountlake Terrace in overtime | Girls prep soccer

The Meadowdale girls soccer team lost in overtime to Mountlake Terrace on Tuesday, Sept. 17. The final score was 2-1 for the Hawks.

Mountlake Terrace was the first to strike, scoring the first goal of the night in the 62nd minute when Maddie Powers scored off an assist from Riley Zucker.

Meadowdale tied the match in the 80th minute, but the Hawks took the win in overtime in the 82nd minute when Lily Hart scored an unassisted goal.

The Mavericks are now 0-1 in league play and 2-1 overall this season. The team will travel to play Shorewood on Thursday, Sept. 19 at 7:30 p.m. at Shoreline Stadium.
