Meadowdale blanks Marysville-Pilchuck | Girls prep soccer

The Meadowdale girls soccer team beat Marysville-Pilchuck on Tuesday, Sept. 10 in the first home game of the season. The final score was 3-0.

Meadowdale, which finished in fourth place in the state last season, earned the first goal of the season on an unassisted Hannah Taylor goal in the fourth minute of the match. Taylor struck again, this time assisted by Kendall Raeker in the 12th minute.

In the second half, Kiana Steed scored, assisted by Emily Critchlow for the final point of the night in the 74th minute.

The Mavericks will next play Highline in a non-conference match at Highline on Thursday, Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
