King's finishes with perfect regular season record 14-0 | Prep volleyball

The King's volleyball team finished the 2013 regular season with a perfect 14-0 record, after beating Coupeville on Tuesday, Oct. 29.

The Knights won 25-19, 25-6 and 25-14.

The team begins the 1A district tournament tonight with a 4 p.m. game against Blaine High School at King's. The winner of the game will move on to play at 6 p.m. against the winner of the Mount Baker vs. Nooksack Valley. The winner of the 6 p.m. game will play in the championship match on Saturday, Nov. 2 at Lynden Christian High School at 6 p.m.

If King's loses the first game against Blaine they will play at 6 p.m. in the consolation bracket against the loser of the Mount Baker vs. Nooksack Valley game.

The top four teams from the district tournament to the Tri-District tournament featuring teams from Districts 1-3. The tournament will begin Thursday, Nov. 7 at King's. The top six teams will advance to the 1A state tournament held in Yakima at the Sun Dome beginning Nov. 15.
