King’s beats Cedarcrest in three games | Prep volleyball

The King’s volleyball team is a game away from a perfect regular season record this year after beating Cedarcrest in three games on Thursday, Oct. 24.

The Knights won 25-23, 25-16 and 25-18.

Alysanne Van Dkye put up 14 kills for the team with 11 digs, while Daylee Hanson added six kills, 18 digs and three aces and Rachel Morinaga added 21 assists.

King’s has a season record of 13-0 this fall. The Knights will take on Coupeville in the final game of the regular season on Tuesday, Oct. 29 at Coupeville at 7 p.m.

The team will begin the post season with the 1A District tournament at Lynden Christian High School starting on Oct. 30.
