Keyport appoints director of marketing and director of sales

Keyport LLC, an Edmonds-based seafood company, announced the appointment of Joanne Kennedy as director of marketing and Audrey Ryan as director of sales.

Kennedy and Ryan bring more than three decades of experience in sales and marketing to Keyport, as the company expands beyond its core offerings into frozen seafood meals.

Kennedy comes to Keyport with over a decade of experience in consumer marketing, having led marketing teams at La Panzanella Artisanal Foods, Ste. Michelle Wine Estates, Winebow and Click Wine Group.

She will focus on maintaining Keyport’s current market leadership in king crab, snow crab and Dungeness crab while supporting its expansion into prepared seafood meals.

Ryan brings 19 years of experience in the seafood industry, leading sales and distribution for top companies nationwide. Most recently, Ryan served as vice president of sales for an East Coast seafood company, where she led the expansion of its fresh and frozen consumer packed goods into top national accounts.

Ryan will focus on expanding Keyport’s distribution in national grocery store chains.

Keyport, founded in 1997, says it deliver wild-caught seafood using responsible fishing practices.

Its products are available through restaurants and retailers nationwide.
