K-9 ribbon cutting at Veterans Plaza Oct. 21; dogs allowed

A ribbon cutting for the K-9 veteran statue is 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at the Edmonds Veterans Plaza, Fifth Avenue North and Bell Street. Dogs on leashes are allowed.

The statue is a project of Off Leash Area Edmonds and has monetary contributions from many citizens in the community.

The sculptor of the project, Lena Toritch, has been invited to attend.
