The Gothard Sisters of Edmonds – Greta, Solana and Willow – took a break from their annual Celtic holiday show rehearsals so the Edmonds Beacon could get fresh photos of the local celebrities.

Beacon intern Abby Dente took these shots Tuesday, Nov. 27, from a windy Stamm Overlook Park on Olympic View Drive.

The siblings begin their fifth annual "Christmas With the Gothard Sisters" tour Friday, Nov. 30, in Morro Bay, California.

Of course, there will be a show in Edmonds. It's 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N.

Tickets are $25, $20 for students and seniors and $10 for children. For more information, go to bit.ly/2P6nUY2 or call 425-275-9595.

The Gothard Sisters have released a dozen albums. After a Christmas project, “Falling Snow,” they released a CD this May called "Midnight Sun."

On stage, the Gothard Sisters are a swirl of energy, exuding wholesomeness with their winsome smiles, fetching stories, inspired musicianship and choreographed Irish dancing.
