Free SAT exam workshops offered

With college acceptance more competitive than ever, preparing for such a critical time in a teenager’s life can be overwhelming.

To help guide parents and students through this stressful time, is presenting several free SAT exam workshops.

These events are open to the public and will begin at 7 p.m. Dates and locations are:

Tuesday, Aug. 13 – Lynnwood Library

Wednesday, Aug. 14 – Seattle Public Library, Northeast Branch

Thursday, Aug. 15 – Seattle Public Library, Broadview Branch

All high school students in grades 9 through 12 preparing for college are encouraged to attend this workshop to learn more about the college entrance process and the SAT exam, which has changed in recent years.

The workshop will cover topics such as improving your SAT score, scholarship opportunities, and an open question and answer session.
