The FC Edmonds girls 2005 team finished third at the US Club Soccer’s National Premier League finals Sunday, July 14, in Denver, Colorado.

Edmonds opened with a 1-0 victory over FC Stars NPL and then tied North Texas Celtic FC Marshall 1-1. The team then rebounded with a 3-0 victory over SA City Red before losing 2-0 to NY Surf NPL.

Edmonds qualified for the national tournament by finishing first in the Puget Sound Premier League. The team’s head coach is John Lowdon and he is assisted by Alvin Little and Josh Cardin.

“I am very proud of every single player on this team and the whole coaching staff,” said Ryan Camden, Director of Coaching for FC Edmonds. “Just getting to the National Premier League Final is a tough task in itself. Coach Lowdon and his staff have done a tremendous job with this team since Day 1. They prepared the team the correct way physically and mentally, and finished third in the country. I think that says it all about what this team and coaching staff brings to FC Edmonds and to the state of Washington.”

FC Edmonds is the Premier Soccer Club of Sno-King Youth Club and draws players from Edmonds, Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace.
