Evacuation from apartment fire in Edmonds

Update at 2:45 p.m. July 3:

Edmonds police assisted South Snohomish Fire and Rescue with a two-alarm apartment fire Tuesday, July 3, in the 21300 block of 80th Avenue West, just south of 212th Street SW.

Three units were damaged.

Officers assisted with evacuations at the scene. Five adults and two children were displaced. There were no injuries.

Power lines were impacted, and there were outages in the area. Snohomish County PUD was notified.

The Red Cross responded to help victims.

Edmonds police are assisting South Snohomish Fire and Rescue with an apartment fire that broke out Tuesday, July 3, in the 21300 block of 80th Avenue West.

Officers are assisting with evacuations at the scene.

Avoid the area, as streets are closed for emergency vehicles to gain access.

Power lines are being impacted. Expect outages in the area.

Snohomish County PUD has been notified.
