Edmonds-Woodway

Coach: Dan Crist

Top players: Olivia Olson, Leona Aklipi, Nicole Ung, Hailey Rehnfeldt

Outlook: Olson ended up playing singles in the postseason and advanced to the 3A state tournament after a third place finish at districts. Aklipi and Ung both are experienced singles players who teamed up for doubles for the league tournament.

King’s

Coach: Kalei Detjen

Top players: Einya Densmore, Callie Wright, Baily McCutchen,

Outlook: The Knights have 39 players out this season. “Our girls are improving,” Detjen said. “Our match play is improving. Every year we keep improving.”

Meadowdale

Coach Mary Reitz

Top players: Hannah Petterson, Moriah Frisby, Grace Bacik, Sydney Miller, Eliza Maloney, Lacey Tingstad, Nicole Brunette

Outlook: Frisby and Petterson advanced to districts last year. “This is a building year for our team,” Reitz said. “We have very strong leaders and great athletes. This team works very hard and their scores are dropping as a result. I expect to bring at least one, hopefully two players to state this year and we will continue to work hard.
