Coach: Dan Crist

Number of athletes: 40 in the program, 20 on varsity

Last season: The Warriors finished the regular season 12-4, sending players to the district and state tournaments.

Strengths: “We have a pretty young team, we only have two seniors,” said head coach Dan Crist. “We have a lot of juniors, but we have some good experience, a girl who went to state last year and a girl who went to districts. We're doing ok.”

Focus: “Getting outdoors,” said Crist after the team spent the first four days of the season inside. “We can't hit a lot of balls, but we do a lot of conditioning inside.”

Seniors: Casey Stepenski and Naomi Kim

The team’s two seniors said they are excited to get playing outside again, and to work on team bonding this season.

“That’s a key point for us,” they said.

Matches to watch: “We play all the teams every in our league twice,” said the coach. “It's not about them, it’s about us. Focus on ourselves.”

The seniors said they are excited to play Meadowdale and Kamiak.

The Warriors will face Meadowdale on Tuesday, March 18 at home, and will host Kamiak on March 25.
