Edmonds woman held at gunpoint, robbed

A woman called 911 about 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, to report that a male had come into her home and held her at gunpoint while he stole items from inside the house.

The male left out the front door of the house on foot.  It is unknown if the suspect acted alone or had accomplices. As a precaution Seaview Elementary was advised and temporarily locked down its’ after school activities.

A Lynnwood Police Department K9 unit responded to assist, conducting a canine track for the suspect.  The track only went a short distance before ending.

The suspect likely left in a vehicle.

A suspicious vehicle had been seen in the area just before the incident. It was described as a square style older Honda type vehicle, grey in color.

The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 50 years old, 5’07”, having a fit build, wearing a black sweatshirt and jeans.

Edmonds Police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
