Dec 07, 2018

The Edmonds Senior Center Thrift Store will offer a 50 percent off sale on all clothing and special items 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 10-14.

The store will officially close Dec. 14 at 220 Railroad Ave. to move to its new location at Westgate Shopping Center, 22820 100th Ave. W, two doors down from the Edmonds Goodwill, during the latter part of December.

It will reopen mid-January at the new location.

“We are all very excited about the move,” said Senior Center Executive Director Farrell Fleming. “This is the first step in our journey to prepare for construction of the new Edmonds Waterfront Center.”

“The sale comes at a wonderful time for Christmas gifts ideas,” store manager Barbara Halseth said. “There will be some great buys of clothing and treasures throughout the store.”

One hundred percent of stores proceeds are used to support Senior Center programs and services.

Edmonds Senior Center (ESC) is at 220 Railroad Ave.

Working in partnership with the City of Edmonds, the Senior Center is pursuing the planning, permitting and fundraising to replace the current building with a modern, 26,000-square-foot center that will serve both seniors and people of all ages.
