Taming Bigfoot Edmonds kicked off Tuesday, Oct. 24, at Edmonds United Methodist Church.

“The turnout was excellent, and the audience was inspired and wants to make a difference,” said Gayle Leberg, a Taming Bigfoot Edmonds committee member.

The meeting, “Climate Change and You,” included presentations from a number of environmental experts, including Shallin Busch (picture with Bigfoot), a research ecologist at NOAA.

Taming Bigfoot is a friendly competition designed to increase awareness of the impact lifestyles can have on carbon emissions.
