The 17th annual Classic Car Show, sponsored by the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce, drew thousands to downtown streets on a gloriously sunny end-of-summer day.

A total of 305 cars were registered, and kids built 275 free pinewood derby cars provided by the Chamber.

People choice ballots were $1, with proceeds benefitting next year's fireworks show.

The winning car was Dave Sittauer's 1937 Nash Lafayette 400.
