Art & Mindfulness combine for women on May 18th

May 03, 2018

Women are gathering for a lovely day retreat experience on May 18th in downtown Edmonds. The Release™ retreat will bring together playful art creation with facilitated discussion, journal writing, mindfulness and guided meditation.

Edmonds-based Therapist Peggy Farah, LMHC came up with the concept after attending a beginners’ art journaling workshop in January. “I wanted a place where women can connect more deeply with themselves and one another, and tap into their playful, creative side.”

A self-described non-artist, Farah intends this experience to bring together all levels of experience in both art and meditation. “Release™ will give women at every age, stage and ability some much needed self-care. Think of it like a ‘spa day’ for the Soul,” Farah says.
