All-Ravel concert at Cascadia Art Museum in Edmonds

Jul 19, 2018

The music of French composer Maurice Ravel will be featured 6 p.m. Friday, July 20, at Cascadia Art Museum, 190 Sunset Ave. S, Edmonds.

Violinist Pamela Liu and pianist David Tan will perform three works: Sonata No. 2 in G major, Piece en Forme de Habanera and Tzigane Rhapsodie De Concert.

“We’re delighted to welcome Pamela Liu back for an all-Ravel program. These three exquisite pieces are examples of Ravel’s style at its best, poetic impressionism, bursting with vibrant energy and great beauty,” said Cal Lewin, chairman of the music committee at Cascadia Art Museum.

“Although many are familiar with Ravel’s work, I believe it’s unusual to hear these duets for violin and piano performed live.

“Please note that this month’s concert is on a Friday evening, not our usual Saturday.”

General admission is $15 ($10 for museum members), and includes complementary admission to the museum exhibits.

Tickets are available online at or by calling 425-336-4809.
