You might see a few more out-of-towners than usual over the next few days.

As of today, Jan. 22, 120 of Rick Steves' European tour guides are roaming the streets of Edmonds.

They are here for the annual Rick Steves Tour Guide Summit, a week-long series of workshops and meetings that gets all the guides ready for a busy season of European tours.

The week will cap off with Saturday’s “Test Drive a Tour Guide” – a full day of travel classes held at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, North Sound Center and Edmonds Theater.

The classes are free and are almost full, but there are a few spots left at www.ricksteves.com/testdrive. Several classes will be live streamed at www.ricksteves.com/live.

“Our guides love Edmonds," Steves said. "And they love to meet people and talk travel. So, if you see them around town, don’t be shy.”
