	        Born in La Junta, Colorado to Pete and Mildred Perez, Dolores was the first of six children. Dolores was married at the tender age of 16 to Paul S. Juárez and raised a family of four children, two daughters and two sons.
She received her GED in 1967 continuing her education to become a physician’s assistant in Lynnwood, WA where she worked at the doctors clinic and went on to work for Watt’s Ophthalmic Clinic.
