I have had a disagreement with the four-way stop signs at Main St. and 7th Ave N near the Francis Anderson Center since it was installed a few years ago.

Probably less than one percent of the traffic at this intersection comes from 7th Ave N that ends at Main St.

So why do the thousands of cars on Main St. have to stop and waste gas, brakes and time?

If the city is concerned with the few pedestrians that cross Main St. here, they can install a blinking yellow light on Main St. that turns red when a pedestrian pushes a button.
