What happened at Monday night’s Port meeting

The Port Commission of the Port of Edmonds held a scheduled meeting at 7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 11.

The Commission:

•  Reviewed a letter from the State Auditor’s office regarding financial reporting requirements written into in an individual commercial tenant’s lease. Possible action options were discussed.

•  Discussed the Greater Edmonds Chamber of Commerce 2013 Arts Awards. The Port has a potential arts activity. A citizen has asked to nominate for an award.

•  Reviewed a recent marina electrical condition assessment report and discussed options for maintenance, reconditioning and replacement.

•  Approved development of engineering specifications preparatory to going out to bid for overhauling electrical service in the guest moorage area (J, K and L docks).

The next regular Commission meeting will be at 7 p.m., Monday, Feb. 25, in the Port Commission meeting room.
