Join the Edmonds Arts Commission for the 2012 Summer Concerts in the Park series for a FREE performance by Grammy Award winners Eric Tingstad and Nancy Rumbel, Sunday, August 12, at 3 .pm.
All concerts are held in Edmonds City Park located at 3rd and Pine in downtown Edmonds.
Bring the family, lawn chairs or blanket for some great music and family entertainment.
Tingstad and Rumbel won a Grammy Award in the New Age category in 2003 for their album “Acoustic Garden” and their most recent collaboration is titled “Badlands.”
The duo have performed, recorded and toured together for over two decades and have released nineteen albums.
They played together at Carnegie Hall and credit their talent to the fact that they both truly love making music.
Plan to enjoy the summer sunshine and take in the smooth acoustic sounds of contemporary instrumentalists, Tingstad and Rumbel in Edmonds City Park this Sunday.
This year’s Summer Concerts in the Park series is generously sponsored by Lynnwood Honda and Acura of Lynnwood. Concerts are presented by the Edmonds Arts Commission on behalf of the Edmonds City Council and are accessible to persons with disabilities.
In the event of rain, the concert will be cancelled at 2:30 p.m. The next Concert in the Park is August 19 and features the Adrian Xavier Band performing Reggae.
