Edmonds native Devon Yesberger  is bringing The Yesberger Band home to Edmonds for a special performance at the Unitarian Universalist church on July 27.

It’s been a year since the band was in the Northwest but they’re beginning a West Coast tour which also includes another local show on August 1, at Bake's Place in Bellevue.

Yesberger says that a lot has happened since they were in the Seattle area last year.

“We've done exciting things since we last were in the area,” he said. “We had the opportunity to fly out to London and play alongside our hero Jamie Cullum as part of his talent competition, The Big Audition.”

They did a lot more than play there. More than 6,500 bands applied for the competition. The Yesberger Band were among the finalists.

Yesberger also said the band has a couple new live videos up on YouTube.

“We'll have a new one in the next couple weeks as well as a new single,” he said.
