Silk screens on display in Lynnwood Library Gallery
Using the outdoors as a source of inspiration for her art, artist Sherry Buckner presents her delightful Asian inspired silk screen prints on view at the Lynnwood Arts Commission’s Lynnwood Library Gallery through May 16.
A professional artist for nearly 30 years, Buckner's work is represented in many public, private and corporate collections.
Buckner is on the Washington State Arts Commission Teaching Artists Roster and regularly teaches children assisting them to connect with their own natural creativity.
Buckner's “Red Twig” studio next to her home where she creates her artwork is situated on a wild wetland with marshes and woodlands that provide wildlife themes that are echoed throughout her work.
Free to the public, the Lynnwood Library Gallery showcases local and regional artists on both the amateur and professional level.
Gallery hours are 10-9 Monday-Thursday, 10-6 Friday, 10-5 Saturday and 1-5 Sunday. The library is closed on national holidays.
Lynnwood Library is at 19200 44th Ave. W, Lynnwood.
