Barry Schwortz, noted Shroud of Turin researcher, will be holding a public Shroud presentation followed by a Q&A session at 7 p.m. on March 4 at Saint Mary Magdalen Parish in Everett.

Schwortz was the official documenting photographer for the Shroud of Turin Research Project, the team that in 1978 conducted the first in-depth scientific examination of the Shroud.

Today, he plays an influential role in Shroud research and education as founder and president of the Shroud of Turin Education and Research Association (STERA, Inc.).

Sponsored by the Snohomish County Councils of the Knights of Columbus, the presentation will be held in the main church of Saint Mary Magdalen Parish, 8517 7th Ave. S.E., Everett. Donations accepted at the door.
