Quilters Anonymous to hold 32nd annual quilt show
The Quilters Anonymous Quilt Guild, Lynnwood/Edmonds area, is holding their 32nd annual Out of this World Quilt Show, March 15-17, at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds, 14405 179th Ave SE, Building 604, Monroe.
Hours are 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Sunday.
Admission is $7 for all three days; bus arrivals receive a discount; parking is free.
The guild's show is probably the largest annual quilt show in the area. It draws more than 4,000 visitors from the Puget Sound area and British Columbia.
Over 550 quilts will be on display, ranging from traditional styles to art quilts and other innovative designs. There is something for everyone to enjoy at the show.
This year’s featured artist is Klota Underwood, whose beautifully made bright quilts embody the "Out of this World" theme and will be on display in a special featured artist section.
Demonstrations, challenge quilts and a sale "quilts to go" are also part of the quilt show.
Quilts, fabrics, and other quilt-related goods will be available for purchase from vendors in the Merchant Mall.
