PUD offers small businesses no-cost measures to save energy
Snohomish County PUD is rolling out a free, limited-time opportunity for small businesses in Mukilteo and Edmonds to save energy and lower their PUD bill.
Over the next several weeks, Willdan Energy Solutions – the PUD’s contractor for this project – will visit businesses to offer a free energy assessment and installation of simple energy-saving measures at no cost.
These measures include efficient screw-in lighting, faucet aerators, pre-rinse spray valves and LED “Open” signs.
This opportunity will be offered only for a limited time, so small businesses shouldn’t wait to take advantage of it. Businesses can contact Willdan at 855-860-2661 or visit www.snopud.com/willdan for more information.
The PUD is committed to meeting future load growth first by pursuing cost-effective conservation, then through a diverse mix of renewable energy sources.
These efforts help address climate change, promote greater energy independence, and identify clean-energy sources in Western Washington.
Conservation efforts help minimize the need to develop new generation, reducing environmental impacts and keeping costs lower for PUD customers.
