Feb 27, 2014

Armed with a search warrant, Edmonds police searched a room at the St. Francis Motel, 23905 Highway 99, on Tuesday, and arrested three people for possible felony possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia.

According to Sgt. Mark Marsh, officers found the suspect powder and packaging materials in the room.

Two of the suspects were booked into Snohomish County Jail; the third was released.

2 residences burglarized

Burglars broke into two Edmonds homes on Friday. Police spokesman Mark Marsh said burglars ransacked a home on the 21300 block of 95th Place, taking computers, medication, wallets and other items.

The victims, Marsh said, were clubbing in Seattle when the burglary took place.

Burglars broke into another home on the 17700 block of 72nd Avenue, but may have been scared off before anything was stolen, Marsh said.

Aggressive patron arrested

A man was arrested after he allegedly assaulted a waitress and threatened the manager at Scott’s Bar & Grill at 8115 Lake Ballinger Way.

Edmonds police Sgt. Mark Marsh said the suspect allegedly grabbed the waitress under her skirt and, after she notified her boss, the suspect allegedly threatened the manager with a fork.

In addition, the suspect reportedly had thrust his hand down his pants and was pleasuring himself.

He was booked on two counts of assault and trespassing, March said.
