Philharmonic to present Music for the Imagination
The Everett Philharmonic Orchestra will present "Music for the Imagination," a concert the whole family can enjoy.
The program, featuring "Peter & the Wolf," takes place from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, at the Everett Civic Auditorium.
Under the direction of Dr. Paul-Elliott Cobbs, music director and conductor, the program will include music from: "Barber of Seville," "Peer Gynt Suite No. 1," "Peter & the Wolf," and "Lion King Suite."
The program also will feature a Tribute to Kent Coleman and "Stars and Stripes" guest conducted by contest winner Spring Fling.
The program will be followed by "Meet the Instruments," when music lovers young and old can get up close and personal with the orchestra instruments and the musicians.
