‘Northwest Landscapes’ to show at Christopher Gallery

Jan 22, 2013

“Northwest Landscapes,” a collection of paintings by Edmonds resident and northwest artist Judith Perry is showing at Christopher Framing & Gallery, 537 Main Street, Edmonds, through March 19.

Perry is a native of Washington State. She studied art at Pacific Lutheran University, the Honolulu Art Academy, and School of the Art Institute in Chicago and has been influenced in her art by the culture and surroundings of these places, as well as the Northwest.

“I love to paint the peacefulness in a landscape,” she said. “There is a compelling need to observe the nature of things and transfer that concept with the fresh mark on canvas.”

Christopher Framing and Gallery hours are Monday – Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
