Paintings by Northwest artist Judith Perry begins with a reception from 5 – 8 p.m., on Thursday, Feb. 21.

The show 'Northwest Landscapes' runs February 21 - March 19 at Christopher Framing & Gallery, 537 Main Street, Edmonds.

Judith Perry lives in Edmonds, and is a native of Washington State.

She studied art at Pacific Lutheran University, the Honolulu Art Academy, and School of the Art Institute in Chicago.

Perry has been influenced in her art by the culture and surroundings of these places, as well as the Northwest.

“I love to paint the peacefulness in a landscape,” she said. “There is a compelling need to observe the nature of things and transfer that concept with the fresh mark on canvas.”

Gallery Hours are Monday – Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
