Today’s focus on sustainability and stewardship make native plants a beautiful and natural choice for the garden.

The Mukilteo Wildlife Habitat Project presents Natives in Your Landscape at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28, at Mukilteo City Hall. Learn why including Pacific Northwest Native Plants and their close relatives in your landscape is the current horticultural hot topic that’s here to stay.

The presentation will be taught by Pam Roy, owner of Planscapes and Home & Garden columnist for the Mukilteo Beacon. Roy has been a landscape designer and horticulturist in the Northwest for 30 years.
