Motor vehicle vs. pedestrian collision

Edmonds Police responded to a motor vehicle vs. pedestrian collision on 76th Ave W just east of SR-99 on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at 4:46 p.m.

A 55-year old Edmonds man crossed 76th Ave W in a westerly direction, not in a marked crosswalk, into the path of a southbound vehicle.  The motor vehicle was driven by a 20-year old Edmonds man.

The vehicle and pedestrian collided in the southbound lane of 76th Ave. W.  Paramedics from Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to the scene and transported the pedestrian to a Seattle hospital for treatment of a right leg injury.

The driver of the motor vehicle was not injured.

This collision remain under investigation.
