Meadowdale wrestlers place at Everett Classic | Prep wrestling

Members of the Meadowdale wrestling team, along with wrestlers from Edmonds-Woodway competed in the Everett Classic at Jackson High School on Saturday, Jan. 4.

Meadowdale finished in seventh place as a team with 105 points, while Edmonds-Woodway was 21st overall with 10 points. Edmonds-Woodway did not have any individual placers in the tournament.

Individually for Meadowdale, Colton Davis tied for third place in the 160 weight class, and teammate Paul Savchuck also tied for third in the 170 division.

Meadowdale's Ciaran Ball won the 195 bracket and Tim Smith was second overall in the 220 weight class.

The Mavericks will host a non-league meet against 4A Kamiak on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m.

Edmonds-Woodway will host Arlington on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 7 p.m.
