The Meadowdale football team earned it's first big win of the 2013 season, beating Kamiak 19-14 after rallying from a first half deficit.

The Mavericks, under new head coach Mike Don, were tied 7-7 at the end of the first quarter, before Kamiak took a 14-10 lead at halftime. Meadowdale pushed forward in the second half, holding the Knights scoreless in the final two quarters of the game. The Mavericks kicked a field goal in the third and scored a touchdown in the fourth to earn the 19-14 win.

The Mavericks, now 1-0 this season, will take on Inglemoor on Friday, Sept. 13 in a 5 p.m. game at Edmonds Stadium.
