Meadowdale High School announces Arts Week events

Meadowdale High School has a number of events planned for its annual Arts Week May 22-28.

Here's a rundown of the events the community is invited to attend:

PE Family Night: 6-8 p.m. Monday, May 22, 2017. Bring the kids and explore artistic forms of exercise, including Zumba, yoga, and dance.

Film Festival: 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, in the Black Box Theatre. Films created by students. Free.

Meadowdale High School Art Walk: 6 p.m. Thursday, May 25, in the Senior Café and Black Box Theatre. Enjoy refreshments and music from the school’s string quartet while browsing student’s fine art. Continue the evening in the Black Box Theatre, where jazz ensemble, poetry readings, improv skits, and top three student films will be featured. Free.

Freedom of Expression Night: 7 p.m. Friday, May 26, in the Black Box Theatre. Dance, poetry, music and spoken word from students. Admission is $3 with ASB and $5 without.
